Data collection systems and a common database have been set up as part of the project.

Data from SMEs being monitored in the project is being sent to a common database.

The database is being used to produce graphs which are displayed over the internet, using a website display system developed by the project partner Energy Metering Technology. This can be accessed at: www.aim4smesonline.co.uk .

The database can be used by participating SMEs to monitor their own consumption data and allows data analysis to be carried out.

It is possible to compare consumption between businesses, and for individual businesses to view their own energy/water consumption over the internet.

The website graphs can be used with the training in the project, helping to raise energy awareness and to monitor consumption on an ongoing basis.
